New Years' Resolutions

This year I have made several resolutions...

...work hard, exercise more, spend less...

...and my favourite...

...to try out at least one new recipe EVERY week so that by the end of the year I will be able to make 52 new dishes.

Mr. Pigeon's New Years' resolution is to sample all 52 recipes.

If you like the look of this Lemon Surprise Pudding (a sort of spongy souffle on top with a pool of lemon curd at the bottom), you can find the recipe here. It really is worth trying. Mmmmm...

Resolutions - oh dear! I am not very good at keeping them. We have a swear box in the office now to stop us all - yesterday (the first day) I had to deposit 10p for my 1 swear......today I was good until a phone call at 5pm and that set me off - 30p.......now if only I could persuade my colleagues that "bloody" isn't a swear word!!

Would that be one new pudding recipe per week, or one new anything recipe? I'm only asking ;-)

That is a fab idea - you should start a group for it! I am going to try a new recipe today - you've inspired me!

yum!

my new years resolution is to finally send you that CD that keeps looking at me plaintively everytime I move something on my shelves (in my defence, there is a lot of clutter on them there shelves which means it hides a lot!)

Happy New Year - may it be a good one for you and the birds.

That resolution to try one new recipe every week is something my mother voiced a few days ago. I'm going to be checking in to your blog to see what recipes you are trying. I hope you post them. Thanks, Linda
